Berlin recycling conference in online format

The organizers announce that they are switching from the planned face-to-face conference to a web-only conference due to the pandemic.

For a long time, the organizers, TK Verlag together with Prof. Daniel Goldmann of Clausthal University of Technology and Prof. Bernd Friedrich of RWTH Aachen University, had hoped to hold the 15th "Berlin Recycling and Secondary Raw Materials Conference" on March 7 and 8, 2022, with participants on site. The pandemic development is now forcing them to change, because a sensible hygiene concept is currently no longer considered sufficient. The risk of infection from the Omikron variant were too great, even for vaccinated persons, and makes business trips difficult for many professionals due to Corona restrictions imposed by their employers. No one was served by an event that has a low number of face-to-face attendees and a high proportion of connected speakers, organizers said. That's why they decided to switch to an online-only conference. Registrations via the website are still possible. According to the organizers, the conference is primarily aimed at managers and experts from the waste and recycling industry, science and administration.
