The Central Agency Packaging Register has updated and expanded the catalogue for determining the system participation obligation of packaging.

 

The 2023 edition of the catalogue is published and available on the website of the Central Agency Packaging Register (ZSVR). This is intended to enable companies to quickly and unbureaucratically determine whether they must participate their packaging in a system. Since the end of 2018, the ZSVR has published the revised catalogue of packaging subject to system participation every year. According to the information provided, the catalogue for 2023 comprises a total of 37 product groups with 531 product sheets. Individual products can be searched for in the catalogue. Depending on the type of packaging and the filling quantity, a database shows whether the packaging is subject to system participation or not. According to the ZSVR, the catalogue also contains new product sheets, for example for heaters, heat pumps and hot water tanks in the product group "white goods" and for chargers and charging columns in the area of "motor vehicles". Also newly included are product sheets for bale nets and agricultural films in the product group "Plant protection and agricultural supplies".
