The VinylPlus Sustainability Forum Germany will take place on Tuesday, 22 September 2026, from 10.00 am at the Universitätsclub Bonn.

The event will focus on strengthening the circular economy for PVC, according to VinylPlus. Under the overarching theme ‘Greater circularity through eco-design and new recovery pathways’, discussions will centre on ways to close the material cycle through innovative design approaches and modern recycling processes. According to the programme, perspectives from industry, research and innovation networks will be presented, covering topics such as the role of eco-design as a competitive factor and of additives in mechanical recycling, as well as solvent-based processes for cleaning PVC recyclates and new recovery pathways for flexible PVC applications. Following the presentations, an expert discussion is scheduled for the afternoon to facilitate a joint exchange of views. Contributions from VinylPlus Deutschland on the implementation of the PVC circular economy and VinylPlus’s voluntary commitment with regard to planetary boundaries will provide the framework for the event.
