On 19 September 2025, the members elected the association's executive committee in Heilbronn as scheduled.

Felix Loose, the old and new chairman of TecPart – Verband Technische Kunststoff-Produkte e. V. (Association of Technical Plastic Products) and managing director of AGOR GmbH, said on the occasion of his re-election about the strategic orientation of the association for the coming years: ‘Technical plastic products are the backbone of a modern and climate-friendly industry. Without them, there would be no mobility, no medical technology, no energy transition.’ That is why action must be taken now to maintain processing and recycling capacities in Germany. Otherwise, added value, jobs and technological sovereignty would be lost. Politicians must create reliable and economically viable framework conditions. The transformation offers enormous opportunities that the association and its member companies want to shape. TecPart will continue to advocate for this, according to Loose.

In addition to the chairman, all previous members of the executive board were also confirmed in their positions by the general meeting. The following members will remain on the board: Thorsten Eymael (SE-Kunststoffverarbeitung), Aline Henke (hankensbütteler kunststoffverarbeitung, deputy chair), Andreas Kriener-Wierling (ROGA KG, treasurer), Andreas Röders (G.A. Röders, deputy treasurer), Wolfgang Siegel (TerHell Plastic), Rouven Steffens (SKV Betopur), Thomas Steinhauser (Adoma), Michael Trapp (Sattler KunststoffWerk), Dr Marco Wacker (MWC – Polymers2People) and Rainer Zies (MKV Kunststoffgranulate, Deputy Chairman). Sebastian Herrmann (Roth Industries) was newly elected to the committee.

In his management report, TecPart Managing Director Michael Weigelt pointed to the strong growth in membership. He emphasised: ‘Particularly in the area of recycling management and with regard to the requirements for technical plastic products, manufacturers are more than ever called upon to join forces more closely. It is important to counter the regulatory authorities with a qualified voice from the plastics processing industry in order to effectively represent the interests of plastics processors.’ Weigelt also said that the degree of organisation within the industry must be further increased in order to be able to cope with future tasks.
