The conference "Recyclability and Secondary Raw Material Use in Packaging - New Impulses in a New Legislative Period" will take place as planned on 14 December 2021 from 14:00 at the Landesvertretung Niedersachsen in Berlin. However, the organisers AGVU, BDE and bvse point out a new situation: Because of the pandemic, the so-called 2G requirements (vaccinated or recovered) will apply. According to them, the venue has a new ventilation system. In addition, there will be ventilation during the coffee break. In this way, the organisers hope to enable direct discussion with politicians and business people on site and networking. Nevertheless, there will alternatively be the possibility to follow the event online. This requires registration via konferenz-verpackungsrecycling.de. The programme can also be found on the conference website. After a keynote speech by MdB Judith Skudelny on the coalition agreement of the new federal government, the proposed measures of the state working group RESAG on the use of recycled plastics and on design for recycling will be discussed first. Afterwards, the digitalisation of the recycling of material flows is on the agenda.
