Ingemar Bühler has left the association of plastics manufacturers PlasticsEurope Deutschland e.V. (PED) as of May 31, 2024.
 

According to the association, Ingemar Bühler is leaving PlasticsEurope Deutschland at his own request to pursue new professional challenges. Bühler had been the association's Managing Director since January 1, 2021. "In recent years, PlasticsEurope Deutschland e.V. has significantly expanded its presence in political discourse and in the media. We would like to thank Ingemar Bühler for this and wish him all the best for the future,” explains Ralf Düssel, Chairman of the Board of PlasticsEurope Deutschland e.V. Alexander Kronimus, who has been Head of Climate Protection and Circular Economy since 2022 and was appointed Executive Officer in 2023, took over the management of the association on June 1, 2024 until further notice.
