After two and a half years, the current managing director, Daniel Marker, will leave Kunststoffland NRW e.V.. He will be succeeded by Dr. Ron Brinitzer, who was most recently Managing Director of the Mittlerer Niederrhein Chamber of Industry and Commerce for the Environment, Planning and Construction, International, Transport and Infrastructure divisions with responsibility for Neuss since 2013. After completing his studies and doctorate, the economist was initially an advisor for business, small and medium-sized enterprises and technology in the CDU parliamentary group in North Rhine-Westphalia and then held various positions in the North Rhine-Westphalian state government. Against this background, he is now considered to be well connected.
Kunststoffland NRW sees itself as a network and voice for companies in the entire plastics value chain in North Rhine-Westphalia, which, according to Kunststoffland NRW, is the number one plastics region in Germany and Europe, with over 145,000 employees and annual sales of around 36 billion euros.
