International Conference on Recycling of Plastics 2023 again with BKV Workshop
The 25th International Conference on Recycling of Plastics will take place in Dresden on June 6 and 7. The BKV will again offer a workshop.
The venue is Dresden's Maritim Hotel & International Congress Center. Organized annually by the bvse plastics recycling association, the conference has become the central meeting place for the international plastics industry. Participants regularly experience exciting lectures and discussions on relevant content relating to plastics recycling. This year, too, visitors can expect topical and controversial subjects: The event will open with a plenary lecture by Prof. Dr. Rainer Dahlmann, RWTH Aachen, on the requirements for plastics recycling, followed by two panel discussions chaired by Dr. Thomas Probst, bvse, on volumes and markets, and Dr. Martin Engelmann, IK Industrievereinigung Kunststoffverpackungen, on waste legislation regarding packaging.
The BKV workshop is also likely to be eagerly awaited, with two sessions this time devoted to the topics of "Plastics in the Circular Economy" and "Plastics in the Environment". Key players from business, science and NGOs, including WWF and Dr. Helen Fürst, President of GKV and member of the BKV Advisory Board, will be involved with short presentations and as guests of the subsequent panel discussions. You can learn more about the BKV workshop program here: https://altkunststofftag.bvse.de/6-juni/workshop-b.
The second day will focus on transboundary waste shipments with experiences from Germany, Italy, Austria and Poland as well as product design.
