"Chemie im Dialog" launches new campaign

The campaign of the initiative "Chemie im Dialog" wants to draw attention to the importance of chemistry for the energy transition and climate neutrality.

According to the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI), various motifs will be placed as large-format outdoor advertisements in selected cities. Digital ads and social media marketing are also part of the campaign, according to the VCI. The sender is "Deine Chemie", a dialogue platform of the German chemical-pharmaceutical industry. The VCI is a member of this initiative, which also includes companies such as 3M, BASF, Bayer, Covestro, Dow, Du Pont, Evonik, Henkel, Lanxess, Merck and associations such as PlasticsEurope Deutschland and TEGEWA. The "Chemie im Dialog" campaign is aimed at the general public and is intended to present chemistry as a constructive and solution-oriented industry. It is intended to convey the core message that only with the chemical-pharmaceutical industry can the transformation to energy transition and climate neutrality succeed and that it is indispensable for the transition to renewable energies and raw materials. The industry itself also wants to be greenhouse gas neutral by 2045. A campaign website provides more information on the chemical industry's contributions to wind power, solar panels and electromobility, as well as a quiz where users can test their knowledge of the industry.
